This really is one of the most stereotypical mascots I have ever seen. Everything in this is someone’s idea of a stereotype: moccasins, leggings, tomahawk, feathers, spear, skin, face, mohawk. The list just goes on. I really hope that you get to go out to Loup City to educate them on this.

I believe that this mascot is not only a false stereotype of Native Americans, but also an insult to the race. I’m at a loss when it comes to seeing which part of this character is honorable. (Interestingly enough, the Nebraska Deptartment of Education reported in 2001 that the Native American Enrollment of the Loup City District was 0.)

I think this mascot is very disrespectful to Indians and represent all the wrong ideas that people have about Indians. also it is kind of races. i think they should change it.
